Biography of Vernon Lloyd

Vernon has been in the IT service industry for over 35 years performing a variety of operational and management roles with many organisations, world-wide.  He has worked for Fox IT for 15 years and is currently International Client Director. Vernon has delivered consultancy and training to numerous organisations in the public and private sectors and he is recognised globally as an authority within the Service Management industry.

He is a popular speaker having addressed many major conferences, in Europe, the Far East, North and South America, on Service Management.  He has helped to author several books on ITSM and he was a lead author for many of the ITIL books including Service Delivery, Service Support and Planning to Implement Service Management. Vernon is also a lead author on the ITIL version 3 refresh project currently underway.

Vernon sits on the strategic advisory board of the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB), is President elect of the Institute of IT Service Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Service Management.
His contribution to Service Management was recognised by the itSMF, when they presented him with the prestigious "Paul Rappaport" lifetime achievement award.
