Biography of Signe Marie Hernes Bjerke

Signe-Marie Hernes Bjerke,
Senior Consultant, Det Norske Veritas (DNV)

Signe-Marie Hernes Bjerke is M.Sc. of Informatics from the University of Oslo. She has over 20 years of experience working within IT both from internal IT departments and with a wide range of IT service providers. Signe-Marie is now working as IT Service Management Consultant in Det Norske Veritas (DNV). She is an experienced ITIL tutor on Foundation and Manager level, ITSM Examiner for ISEB and is also a certified ISO 20000 consultant.

Signe-Marie was part of the group founding ITSMF Norway in 2003, and has for the last two years been Norway's representative in the ITSMF International Publications Executive Sub-Committee (IPESC), where she now has been elected as Vice Chair. She is also member of the ITIL Advisory Group (IAG) in the ITIL Refresh Project.
