ITIL Publication Updates

The Core Cabinet Office Material within the ITIL publications suite are currently undergoing some updates as part of the Cabinet Office's cyclical programme to update its core ITIL guidance in line with the latest developments in IT Service Management.

The result of this review and update will be a new edition to the guidance, but not a new version, as the framework itself will remain largely unchanged.

Scope of the Project

  The ITIL Mandate for Change, published in September 2009, and specifies the need and the scope of the update.

  The Scope and Development Plan document, published in February 2010, specifies the scope, plans and governance of the ITIL Update project.
