30 day Candidate Withdrawl Notice - 31 July 2010

Advance Notice To Candidates - Withdrawl of the ITIL V2 Service Manager Qualification

All potential ITIL examination candidates should be aware thatthe ITIL V2 Service Manager Qualification (both Service Support and Service Delivery examinations) will be withdrawn in 30 days time.

Therefore, from 31 August 2010 this qualification will no longer be publically available butany candidates who have failed either examination will be able to take a resit until June 2011.

ITIL Intermediate Translations Update- 27 July 2010

The Accreditor is pleased to announce the release of the following ITIL V3 Intermediate Modules this month:

Japanese: SOA - Service Offerings and Agreements
Spanish: SO - Service Operation
German: SO - Service Operation
Danish: OSA - Operational Support and Analysis (updated) & RCV - Release Control and Validation

Foundation Translations Update – 25th June 2010

The Accreditor is pleased to announce the release of two new languages for ITIL V3 Foundation this month.

Romanian

Please contact your Examination Institute for more information.

We are currently working on two more languages which will be available by the end of the year. Finnish ITIL V3 Foundation will be released in August, and a Russian translation is currently underway.

Intermediate Translations Update – 10th June 2010

ITIL Intermediate module translations have been progressing as planned, and following thorough reviews, the first module will be released next month. In the coming months, we will be releasing the modules listed below:

Brazilian Portuguese – OSA

Danish – OSA

ITIL V2 Qualifications - 31 May 2010

Advance Notice to Candidates - ITIL V2 Qualifications Withdrawal begins in 30 days time
Further to the OGC's announcement for the withdrawal of the ITIL V2 suite of products, whichincludes all Version 2 publications and qualificaitons, the process is due to begin in 30 days time with the withdrawal of the ITIL V2 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

Intermediate Translations - 19April 2010

Further to the statement issued by the Accreditor regarding The translation of ITIL V3 Intermediate Examinations has begun(February 2010), we have received some feedback from the community regarding the number of modules we have committed to translate in some languages.
We have considered this feedback, reviewed our translation plans for 2010 and have revised the plans to commit to translate additional modules as follows:

All of the above translations should be available by the end of 2010.
Further updates on the availability of these modules will be released through the Accreditor and EIs.
