The APM Group, the Official Accreditor for the ITIL Examinations, is pleased to announce that Japanese Intermediate ITIL examinations will be available from July 2010.
The first exam to be released will be the Japanese 'Service Offerings and Agreements' (SOA) examination from the ITIL Intermediate Capability Stream. This will be released on 5th July 2010. This is the first translated Intermediate module to go live.
Four more Japanese examinations will follow:
Japanese Release, Control and Validation (RCV) – Beginning of September
Japanese Operational Support and Analysis (OSA) – mid September
Japanese Planning, Protection and Optimization (PPO) – mid September
Japanese Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC) – mid October
To celebrate the release of the first SOA module, Richard Pharro, CEO, The APM Group, will be speaking at the itSMF Japan conference which takes place in Tokyo on July 22nd and 23rd. Mr Pharro's presentation takes place on the second day of the conference.
"I am looking forward to my visit to Japan and the itSMF conference," Mr Pharro said. "I will be presenting the ITIL V3 scheme and give some insight into how I think ITIL will evolve in the next few years. I also look forward to talking to delegates about our work on getting the Japanese modules ready."
Japanese candidates who wish to take their examination in their native language should contact their Accredited Training Organization who will be able to assist them.
