ITIL Expert Level can now be achieved in Japanese

26th October, 2010, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, UK

The APM Group, Official Accreditor for the ITIL examinations is pleased to announce the release of the Japanese 'Managing Across the Lifecycle' (MALC) module.

Localization of ITIL Intermediate exams began in January 2010 and Japanese is one of the seven languages in which work has been steadily progressing. The Capability stream of Intermediate modules have now all been issued in Japanese, so the release of the translated MALC module enables candidates to reach ITIL Expert level by taking Japanese exams.

Joji Koyama, itSMF Japan who has been heavily involved in the translation project says,

"We are delighted the Japanese modules are now available and have been issued on schedule. We believe this new route to higher levels of ITIL qualifications will lead to a greater take up of the certification and an increased interest in IT Service Management. "

Richard Pharro, CEO, The APM Group says, "Japanese-speaking candidates can now go right the way through the ITIL Certification in their native language. Each module has been subject to a pilot with real candidates, so we are confident that candidate performance will be consistent across all ITIL qualifications, whatever the language of the exam. I wish everyone taking the Japanese ITIL qualifications, and indeed all candidates, every success with their ITIL examinations and their careers in service management."

Japanese candidates wishing to take the examinations in their native language should contact their Accredited Training Organization for further information.
