Cabinet Office is seeking to establish a clearly identified marketplace, where users/customers of its Best Practice guidance can be assured that they are investing in quality products and services.
To support this, the Cabinet Office has developed a policy on the use of its trade marks including, logos and endorsement marks. This includes the provision of an authorised route for suppliers, where they can have their products endorsed, potentially enhancing their value in the marketplace.
APM Group has been granted delegated authority by the Cabinet Office to issue licences for the re-use of Cabinet Office trade marks and the Crown copyright in the publications relating to them. This means that they issue licences to Accredited or Approved Organisations for them to use Cabinet Office IP within their training materials and/or related marketing activities. APM Group also license non-accredited organisations and individuals who wish to re-use Cabinet Office intellectual property within their products and services.
The Intellectual Property Management Board (APM Group, the Cabinet Office, TSO and the Office of Public Sector Information [OPSI] ) chaired by the Cabinet Office work to actively assist in the protection of our partners' IPR by direct surveillance of websites and by using our network of Accredited Organisations to bring potential infringements to our attention and take action where necessary.
Please report any use of Cabinet Office IPR which you think is unauthorized to TSO here, via the Best Management Practice Website, or alternatively Contact Us.
Please provide your name, contact details and as much information about the infringement as possible, including the nature of the infringement and any contact details for the infringer.
